Aberdeen Students' Charities Campaign
Welcome to the Aberdeen Students' Charities Campaign homepage. ASCC or "Charities" as it is affectionately known is one of the country's longest-running fundraising campaign of its kind. Every year thousands of students from across Aberdeen's Higher Education Establishments (University of Aberdeen, RGU and Aberdeen College) work tirelessly to organise events and collections to raise tens of thousands of pounds for local charities across Aberdeen, and the North-East of Scotland.
Last year we raised nearly £70,000 for over 35 different local charities!
Events in the Charities Campaign calendar include the annual Student Show at HMT (the most successful charity musical in the country), the Torcher Parade (the largest student torch-light parade in Europe), the Fashion Show, Jailbreak, the newly established RAG Week, and the up-coming AntiVal Pub Crawl! BookEnds, your second-hand charity bookshop on campus, also donates two thirds of all books and DVDs sold to the Charities Campaign. Keep up with offers and events here!
The Charities Campaign is open to everyone and allows you to try almost anything. Join us this year to help make the Campaign even bigger and better!
