Give it a Go specially caters for first-timers, so if you’re worried about being less experienced than the others, don’t want to turn up and not know anyone, not sure if you want to join a society quite yet, then fret ye not!! Come along to one of the Give it a Go sessions, and see what they’re all about!

We welcome all of our current and future members to come to the book-networking event on Saturday on the 4th of February from 11-14. We are meeting in the largest bookshop in Aberdeen (in front of Waterstones, Union Street) Each participant will be given 15-20 minutes to go and collect his/her 5 most favourite books of all time. While drinking coffee at the upstairs cafe, each of us will discuss what makes those particular 5 books so special and unforgettable. Also, the running of the book club will be discussed at the end. Who knows - maybe some of us decide to buy one of the books recommended by others and turn into their favourites too!

Join us for our regular Sunday evening Mass at 6:30pm, at the historic King's College Chapel. The evening Mass is usually followed by dinner at the Catholic Chaplaincy across the road (7, High Street), and on this evening we will also be having a Games night! If you are a Catholi, or just curious about Catholicism, come along and meet the friendly and active community here at our University!

Event Details: Physical Theatre - Come along and immerses yourself in the world of Physical theatre. Using movement and dance to tell a story and develop characters, this workshop will be a great introduction to physical theatre, ideal for new and old members alike.

Come along for a small tasting to discover the culture behind whisky. At the Malt Whisky Society, we believe that a well-rounded university education involves more than sitting in a library all day or running around a sports playing field. Scotland is renowned for its Uisge Beatha (Water of life) and we plan on showing you why! Entrance is only 2£ for members, and 3£ for non-members. For that you get 4 whiskies from the wide variety we keep in stock!  We will also do a small raffle, to allow you to win some prizes!  All profits go to Childreach International.
