What is it?
The idea is simple; contestants have to get as far away from Aberdeen as possible in 36 hours – without spending any money. In order to do this, teams contact travel companies trying to blagg tickets in order to travel as far way as possible for free. Whether that be airlines, ferries, trains, buses, haulage companies or whatever. As long as the companies have a means of transport and are willing to help you out then you can use them. The idea is to try and blagg as many of these tickets as possible (as well as return tickets!!) as the alternative is to hitchhike. By registering your team, you receive an official letter to show to the companies stating that this is a charity event. You are not allowed to spend any money on travel, whether that is your own money, or someone else buying tickets for you.
