What is AUSA Joblink?
AUSA Joblink is run by Aberdeen University Student’s Association. We provide our members with links to quality employers including employment information and advice, part-time work, temporary opportunities and full time vacation jobs.
How do I use AUSA Joblink?
Before you can use AUSA Joblink, you must register with the service before you can apply for the positions. Please follow the simple instructions below to register. Please Note that there is a 2 part registration process.
How do I register with AUSA Joblink?
All you need to do to view our on-line vacancies is click onto www.ausa.org.uk, click to register, you will then need to use your university login details as a user-name but you can create your own password, once you have completed this you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm that you have registered, click on the link to confirm this and this will take you back to the AUSA web page. Log in again and then you will need to individually register for the various services.
For AUSA Joblink click on the register button just above the Search Filter and fill out a few more details. Once you have filled this in you are ready to go! Then use the search filter to find jobs relevant to your needs and click add to favourites in order to receive the full details of the jobs. You will be able to view your favourites through a link above the search filter. The information will as quickly as possible be sent to your favourites during office hours, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm -please note it will no longer be sent to your email.
How do I apply for work?
AUSA Joblink acts as a job centre for employers so each job will have it's own application method. The instructions of how the employer wishes to be contacted will be on the full job description that is sent to your favourites.
What if I am not a student?
If you are not a student at University of Aberdeen then you will not be able to access the vacancies. Try your local JobcentrePlus or newspapers. If you are looking for work in the University go to www.abdn.ac.uk and click on 'Jobs'.
Does it cost me anything to use AUSA Joblink?
No. Our service is free of charge for student job seekers.
