We are looking for several Climate Change Project assistants to help run our new office space.
The new office is an interactive space for students, whcih will include a SwapShop where students can donate unwanted items in exchange for something new.
There will also be information and resources about energy, food, travel and waste plus info on all the latest events and projects we are running.
We are looking for volunteers to welcome other students into the space,help them find the information they are looking for and give advice.
An induction will be given and training is available.
The assistants will also be able to get involved in writing newsletters, updating the notceboards and putting forward ideas to encourage students to use the space.
Required 3 hours per week, times to be agreed.
We are looking for friendly and approachable people who are interested in sustainability and who would enjoy talking to other students.
There will be an induction into the role and optional training is available including Carbon Conversations

We are looking for an enthusiastic cook to run weekly cookery sessions for Climate Change Project.
We pay for all the ingredients,provide a kitchen and promote the sessions.
You come along and show the group how to cook a great recipe, everyone helps prepare the meal and eats together at the end of the session. We want our meals to be climate friendly! Which means we usually prepare meat free meals and use lots of local ingredients like the veg from the student vegbag which is lovely and fresh.
We normally have groups of between 6 and 10 people and you are welcome to bring your friends along to the session.
Sessions are held at the Student Community Centre (Hillhead, Adam Smith Building) and at Bookends kitchen (Butchart). You can run the sessions every week or we can work out a rota with you.
We need someone who loves to cook, is friendly and approachable, likes working in a team, reliable and who likes talking to other students about all the great project we are running!
We can arrange for you to do a food hygeine certificate if you wish.
Required - 3 hours per week, times to be agreed, usually we run cookery between 4-6pm on a weekday.
