AUSA and NUS Green Impact Awards!
Showing its commitment to our environment and ethics on campus, the Aberdeen University Students’ Association achieved SILVER Accreditation in the NUS Green Impacts in 2010/11, building on the Working Towards Accreditation achieved in 2009/10.
Green Impact is NUS's flagship environmental project. Originating from the Sound Environmental Impact Awards, Green Impact Students' Unions is designed to help unions improve their environmental performance and share best practice in the sector.
Green Impact Universities and Colleges stemmed from this programme to help staff and students green their institutions from the bottom up.
A range of the AUSA's policy that contributed to the Silver award can be seen here.
The Awards are run by NUS Services.
