A three year contract was signed with Kukri Ltd in 2008 for sports wear. This brought every sports team in the university into line wearing similarly designed clothing, suitably named Butchart after the old sports centre. The launch was in September '08 and several hundred students turned out to pose for a photograph to mark the occasion.
