I heartily welcome both our new and returning students back to Campus. You have all left homes and loved ones to come here for different academic degrees. No one can obviously replace them. But if at any time you feel the need for any assistance or even a chat whilst here in University of Aberdeen, do not hesitate to contact us at AUSA because we want you to have the best of student experience. Study hard, enjoy very well, rest adequately and explore the city. Yes, do not forget we have Foresterhill Campus for medical/Nutrition students. Hop into Bus Service 9U (time schedule can be downloaded from Google), with your student ID free of charge and it takes you straight to the Foresterhill Campus. Once more you are welcome to school!

Sports Officer

Who would you most like to have dinner with? 

Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, it's my favourite movie series of all time. 

Where would you most like to visit in the world?

China because I've been before and find the local culture fascinating. 

What do you most like to do with your time off? 

Spend time with family and research things that are going on in the education sector.  

What one thing would you like to achieve in your time in office?

As this is my second year, I've already achieved quite a bit but I'd like to improve the class rep system so it's more accessible to all.

Welfare Officer

I'm Harry and I'm your Welfare Officer at AUSA. I came to the UNi in 2013 and studied Politics and IR graduating in summer 2018. I focus on your welfare at the University making sure the operates a robust and comprehensive student support package and that everyone's university life is happy fulfilling and welcoming no matter your background.

Who would you most like to have dinner with? 

Freddie Mercury because he was exceedingly talented, generous and would have been a great laugh.

Where would you most like to visit in the world?

Some of the Polynesian Islands because I find the culture fascinating and would like to explore before the effects of climate change take place. 

What do you most like to do with your time off? 

I like to spend time experimenting in the kitchen as well as spending time visiting family and friends across the country. 

What one thing would you most like to achieve in your time in office?

To raise the profile and respect of students who need additional support and care during their time at University.
