About Applied Qualitative Research Training for Students:

Learn about research software while taking part in a research project
People find it hard to learn how to use NVivo on their own so over the course of 5 days learn about how to set up a project, import files, code texts, query your data and visualise your results. All while conducting research with a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education
Over 5 days you will learn what NVivo can and can’t do and how you could use it in future university work and beyond.
NVivo is one of the leading software programmes for qualitative data analysis
This training programme has been run with staff and PhD students at a Norwegian university and now students at the University of Aberdeen have the opportunity to learn about NVivo while taking part in a research project.
