Compost is the key to a good garden, but what to put in and what not? We'll be demistifying the whole subject, learning how to make good compost from different materials and building a new compost bay. No experience required.
The Secret Garden is the University's community garden space. Our weekly gardening session is a great way to learn skills, get a break from the computer and meet other gardeners.
The Secret Garden is across the car park from the Butchart Centre on University Road. Tools, training, gloves and refreshments are provided but note that there are no toilets.
