CND North East Scotland is organising a Pre-COP 26 Climate Change Protest Rally in Aberdeen - and Society for Energy Transition has been invited to speak!
The rally will take place from 11.45 am to 2.30pm pm on Saturday, 23rd October outside Marischal College.
The World's leaders are meeting in Glasgow from October 31st to November 12th to decide future targets and actions across the World on Climate Change. This is their 26th such meeting yet all the evidence is that the world is not doing nearly enough to stop the catastrophic effects of the Climate Crisis. The rally will be demanding that not only do countries across the world need to put words into actions but so do we in the North- East of Scotland. WE DEMAND MORE ACTION!
Come along to hear speakers and music, food will be provided by Food not Bombs. Come and show your support for more radical action to deal with Climate Change. Be part of a local, national and international movement. Find out about actions taking place in Glasgow and sign up for a bus going to Glasgow on November 6th.
