AUWSS is a brand new society starting this year! We are a group of students who love wild swimming around Scotland. We welcome anyone who wants to join us, whether you are a confident wild swimmer or have never tried it before! All abilities are welcome.
We will provide safety briefings and talks from experts to ensure everyone stays safe at all times. Wetsuits are not required but they are recommended because we are in Aberdeen! So bring along a warm change of clothes, towel and cosy socks.
We will be running weekly socials including BBQs, pub crawls, quizzes and many more! We will hold weekly training sessions at various locations around Aberdeen and monthly day trips to beauty spots in and around Aberdeenshire and sometimes further. We are planning a weekend trip to a beauty spot within Scotland where we will swim and take part in water sports as well as other fun activities!
