The majority of students now find that they have to work around study commitments both to finance their studies and develop essential skills. The SEOTY Award aims to recognise and help promote the outstanding contributions and achievements of students who effectively combine part-time work with their study commitments.
This scheme is co-ordinated by NASES (National Association of Student Employment Services) to recognise the importnat contribution students make in the workplace and to highlight the valuable skills and experience you gain. It's also to highlight how amazing you are!!

You can apply for one of these awards by asking your employer to nominate you.
It's worth it and the chances of winning it are much higher than winning the National Lottery or even the X Factor so go for it!
Also this year there is a student Employer of the Year competition so if you feel your employer is fantastic, has really helped you in your development and has given you all the support you need and more then why not nominate them. Both you and your employer will get recognition for winning.
