Join The Aberdeen University Concert Band, for friendship, great music and fun!
The concert band is a non-auditioned community ensemble, open to students, alumni, staff and anyone in the wider Aberdeen community. We accept musicians and instrumentalists of any playing ability, from beginner to expert, because of this our band plays a wide selection of music. From film scores to band classics and anything in between, there is something for every taste and performing ability! We accept instruments from brass, woodwind and percussion sections.
We rehearse on a Tuesday from 6pm-8pm in King’s Pavilion on the campus of The University of Aberdeen.
Our first rehearsal this semester will be Tuesday the 22nd September 2026.
Our winter concert this year will be held in St Machar's Cathedral on Saturday 28th November 2026, so save the date!
