Come along and join the Aberdeen University Concert Band for fun, friendships and a whole lot of amazing music!

The concert band is a non-auditioned community ensemble, open to students and staff of the university, as well as anyone around and out-with the university community. The band always plays a wide variety of music, from film scores to band classics and anything in between. There's something for every taste and performing ability! All we ask is that you play a brass, woodwind or percussion instrument. We rehearse on a Tuesday from 6pm-8pm. This year we will rehearsing in King’s Pavilion and be conducted by the incredible Sam Paul.

Our first rehearsal this semester will be Tuesday the 26th of September.

Our concert this semester will once again be held in the Music Hall in collaboration with University of Aberdeen Symphony Orchestra on the 6th of December 2023 (save the date!)

Recent concerts include;

Our 'Dance Spectacular' at the Music Hall in April 2022

And our sell out 'Movie Matinee' in St Machar's Cathedral in April 2023.
