Types of Activities
The University of Aberdeen History Society offers a blend of social and academic activities to cater to all interests.

Aberdeen Historical Review
The Aberdeen Historical Review (AHR) is an undergraduate journal run by the University of Aberdeen History Society. It showcases top-notch essays across various historical periods and approaches. The journal is published bi-annually in summer and autumn, and you can learn more about it on the AHR website. How to Join
Joining the History Society is easy! Once you’ve set up your university IT account, simply log in, and the ‘add to basket’ option will appear on the right of this page. If you’re a First Year and haven’t set up your IT account yet, don’t worry – you’re still welcome to attend our events while you’re getting settled.
