The Politics and International Relations Society is among the most recognisable on campus. We have helped organise some of the biggest student-run events at the University of Aberdeen and were winners of the Society of the Year Award for three consecutive years.
AUSA Politics and International Relations Society is a student-based society affiliated with the Aberdeen University Students' Association. Over the past few years, we have organised many diverse events ranging from political debates and talks to interactive discussions with a variety of guest speakers. In addition to organising both entertaining social and academic events for our members, we have organised international and domestic politically-focused trips. Being a Politics student or not, all you need to join our society is the slightest interest in how the world works and what it's like.
The PIR society - one of the biggest on campus - is a great way to meet and interact with new and different kinds of people who share like-minded discussions and open-minded perspectives allowing you to bond over a wide variety of topics, including what's currently on trend. Getting involved is just one easy first step.
