Welcome to Sexpression Aberdeen!
Sexpression Aberdeen is a branch of Sexpression:UK, an independent group run by students from all over the UK. Our vision and aim is to provide information to young people to help them make informed decisions about their relationships, and understand sex and sexuality in the 21st century.
Sexpression Aberdeen visit both primary and secondary schools in Aberdeen, providing small group teaching to pupils aged 10-18. During our visits, we aim to provide a relaxed and safe environment in which pupils feel they are able to discuss questions and issues surrounding every aspect of relationships, sex and sexuality. We do this through games, quizzes and other interactive activities. We also run events and spread sexual health awareness on campus - with STI testing, pub quizes, information evenings, talks, socials and more!
How can you get involved? At the start of each term we run training for students who want to volunteer with us in schools - providing you with all the information you need to become great sex educators. Volunteering with us is great for so many reasons - if you have an interest in education or sexual health, development of your public speaking and organisational skills and for meeting like-minded people. You can also get involved with all of our other great events on campus, including our legendary start of year pub crawl.
You can keep up with all of our events including dates for training and socials on our Facebook page! Any questions, dont hesitate to drop us a message or email.
