We're a student-led society for anyone interested in accounting and finance at the University of Aberdeen. We have two aims.
The first is to help our members grow. Through workshops and practical sessions, we give students skills that build their confidence and make them more employable in their future careers.
We also bring in speakers who are at the forefront of developments in the industry. Through these talks, members hear first-hand about the trends, technology and challenges shaping accounting and finance today. They also get the chance to ask questions and make connections that can open doors.
Our bi-weekly newsletter keeps members up to date between events. It covers accounting and financial news from Aberdeen and around the world, with a focus on what matters to students. Each issue also lets you know what the society has coming up next.
The second aim is to bring people together. We want to build a close student community that makes life better for everyone studying accounting and finance, both in and out of the lecture theatre.
Whether you're here to sharpen your CV, learn something new or meet people on your course, there's a place for you with us.
