Friends of MSF Aberdeen is the University of Aberdeen's student group that raises funds and awareness for/about MSF's work as well as global health issues.

 

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has medical teams which act fast to save people’s lives in conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics.

Dr Mike Tomson has worked in both Jordan and in Lebanon for MSF. Non Communicable Diseases GP. He was in Jordan for 9 months as the medical activities manager in Irbid project and in Lebanon as a Flying Doctor reviewing 2 projects (Bekaa and Tripoli)

Emily Gilbert has worked in both Central African Republic and Democratic Republic of Congo, and currently works in our Field HR team in MSF's London office, she will share with us her experiences followed by questions via skype over lunch.
