Last year, AUCS (est 2014) attracted 80+ members. We are always looking for more people to join in the fun! Whether you are a COMPLETE beginner or have been tumbling, stunting or dancing since you were 2, you are welcome in our club - and we will help you develop your skills and gain new ones. For more experienced members, we can also offer coaching qualifications.
We have 4 different membership options depending on what suits you best:
Full year membership - This includes a T-shirt, a bow, and covers attending training sessions as well as all our amazing social events for the whole year.
Alumni membership - This is for graduates ONLY and includes a T-shirt, a bow, and covers attending training sessions as well as all our amazing social events for the whole year.
ERASMUS One Semester Membership - For those of you that are only here for a semester or unsure if you want to commit to the full year. This will cover attending training sessions as well as all our amazing social events for the semester.
Social Membership - For those of you who don't want to come to club trainings but want to come to our socials throughout the year, such as Wednesday night outs, Balls and Fundraisers.
We're excited to return for another year of training, competitions and socials! Our primary focus for this year is to reclaim our title as Small All-Girl Level 1 FC Champions. We also want to achieve the best season yet for all our teams. This year, we will be aiming to enter teams into the following divisions at competitions (This is pending tryout numbers and ability):
Cheer All Girl Small Team (Level 1)
Cheer Co-ed Non-Tumble (Level 2)
Group Stunts (Levels 1-2)
Pom Dance
If competing is not for you, you can still join in at our whole club training sessions to develop your skills and our socials! Teams for competitions and performances will be selected in early October; however, you do not have to compete. This is entirely optional, so everyone is welcome! Being part of this club will allow you to perform at charity and university events and develop skills at a higher level if you want to!
There are plenty of ways to get involved aside from competing. If you want to come along for FUN without commitments, participate in our Wednesday whole club training sessions from 2-3:30pm TBC. This is a great way to meet our members and learn new skills! If you don't fancy it but still want to join the club, boogie with us at our socials. We have many charity events, club fundraisers, and socials planned for this year, so keep an eye out!
At AUCS, we are one big family; you'll meet friends for life. You'll be sure to feel at home.
