AUCS (est 2014), reigning Level 1 Small All Girl FC Champions attracted 60+ members. We are always looking for more people to join in the fun! Whether you are a COMPLETE beginner or have been tumbling, stunting or dancing since you were 2, you are welcome in our club - and we will help you develop your skills and gain new ones. For more experienced members we can also offer coaching qualifications and first aid training.
This year we hope to be competing at TWO British University Nationals and the Scottish University Championships. The divisions we will be entering teams into at competitions this year include:
Cheer (Level 1)
Group Stunts (Levels 1-3)
Due to Covid there are some restrictons and therefore this will be subject to national guidelines, rules and regulations. Nevertheless, we aim to make it the best it can be!
If competing is not for you, you can join in our weekly online classes and our socials! We also have a non competitive team/performance team Heatwave! Being part of this team will give you the chance to perform at charity and University events and will also allow you to develop skills at a higher level should you want to! Unfortunately due to restrictions, Heatwave will not be having separate trainings this semester. They will join in with online classes and should the situation improve, the team will be selected in second semester.
There are plenty of ways to get involved aside, from competing. If you would like to come along for FUN with no commitments then come and take part in our full club online training session every Thursday. This is a great way to meet all of our members and learn new skills! If you don't fancy it but still want to be apart of the club, come along and have a boogie with us. We also have lots of charity events, club fundraisers and socials planned for this year, so keep an eye out!
At AUCS, we are one big family, you'll meet friends and sisters (or brothers) for life. You'll be sure to feel at home.
