Organised by the Aberdeen University Triathlon Club, our annual King's Aquathlon will return after a year-long break in 2021 on the 23rd of October. You will have the opportunity to swim in Aberdeen Sports Village followed by a run  along the beautiful Aberdeen beachfront (READ: FLAT AND FAST).

You will have the choice of two distances: 800m swim + 10km run (Open) OR 400m swim + 5km run (Novice). Both races are for the junior category and/or above, which means that you will have be 15 years old or older to be allowed to take part.

The swim will be in the 50m pool  and the run will be along the beach  with the finish line being at the back of Aberdeen Sports Village. The whole race will be chip-timed.  Registration will be in the Aquatics Studio of Aberdeen Sports Village (straight up the stairs on the Aquatics Centre's side).

The entry fee will be 25 pounds for adults and 22 pounds for students and 15-18 years old participants. This does not include the administration fee paid towards EntryCentral.

Registration opens at 10:30 and the transition opens from 11:00 with both closing around 12:00. The open race starts at 12:45 and the novice race starts at 13:15. Please be as accurate as possible to help us ensure a smoothly running event!

Refreshments (banana and glucose tabs) are available after the race. Please note that due to the event being plastic-free, there will be no bottled water distributed at the finish line. Participants, therefore are encouraged to bring their own reusable bottles of water as a refreshment after the race.
