Fàilte! We provide a friendly and social environment for people to follow and widen their interest in different fields relating to the Celtic nations' culture, history, languages and traditions, with a focus on Gaelic (Gàidhlig). Through cultural and social events, we promote and advocate for the languages and cultures of the Celtic nations, as living cultures both within the University of Aberdeen and in the wider local community.
We work closely with Club Gàidhlig Obar Dheathain, Còisir Ghàidhlig Obar Dheathain, WayWORD Festival, and other community groups and initiatives - The society is a great way to get involved in our local Gaelic community! Follow us on Instagram (@au_celticsociety) for updates, or send us an email!
