The Aberdeen International Medicine Society (AIMS) is a student-led society focused on global health and healthcare, humanitarian medicine, elective planning, and cross-cultural approaches to patient care. We aim to enhance our care as culturally-competent and globally-minded future doctors to ensure we make informed, holistic decisions which empower our patients. AIMS is perfect for students interested in the global scope of medicine.
- Global Health Teaching Series: we are running a regular systems-based teaching series each semester where we prepare medical students for exams and explore international themes of medicine with our Education Team. - Stalls: from Freshers' Fayre to medical conferences, AIMS can be seen running engaging stalls to talk about humanitarian medicine, medical electives abroad, and more!
