What We Do

Our events include:

  • talks by invited guest speakers!
  • coding challenges/hackathlons/game jam!
  • gaming competition nights!
  • crossover events with other societies

We also have a Minecraft sever! Vanilla version 1.21.1. IP: minecraft.aucs.org.uk

Membership benefits

Members are able to attend all our events for free and get to vote in our Annual General Meeting.

Our first event of the semester is a reboot of our first hackathon: a pathfinding coding challenge in python!
UK & Ireland Programming Competition
18th October 10am - 6pm
MR117, MacRobert Building
Teams of up to three students try to solve as many programming problems as possible from a given problem set, using only one computer.
