Hello to the socially awkward and anxious overachievers, aka postgrads …

PGR officially stands for Postgraduate Research, but honestly? Around here, it could also mean Panic, gossip, and regrets.

It all started with individuals, just like you,  who felt isolated and craved connection. They found each other and decided to build something for everyone. And now that something is in this society. Because the research journey can be isolating and intense, with the occasional existential crisis, we are here to give you a place to step away from the thesis and find a community that supports and understands you.

This society is all about building friendships, supporting one another, and creating a safe, welcoming space for PGRs from every discipline and background.

We host our weekly social where you can grab a drink, meet fellow researchers, and share the DRAMA of postgraduate life. We yap, sip coffee, cry a little, and then yap some more.

Beyond coffee, we also plan fun activities like walks, hikes, day trips, and the occasional pizza party!
