Student Officer Elections 2026

Who will you vote for?

The Students’ Union is led by five full-time, paid Elected Student Officers (Sabbatical Officers), elected each spring for the following academic year. These officers work as a team, each focusing on their specific remit to represent students and drive forward students’ interests at the University, local, and national levels. These Officers are elected by students in March each year and voting is open on Monday 10th March.

  • Vice President for Communities
  • Vice President for Education
  • Vice President for Welfare

 

Key Dates:

  • Candidate Debates: 5th, 6th, and 9th March, more information avaiable here.
  • Voting Opens: Monday 9th March, 9am
  • Voting Closes: Thursday 12th March, 5pm
  • Results Announced: Friday 13th March, TBC
