It is with great excitement that we announce our annual Gaylidh. This year, we’re fundraising for the Equal Recognition Campaign: http://equalrecognition.scot/
So we hope to see all of you for this fabulous night of entertainment, awards, a raffle, and of course a ceilidh. Anyone over 18 is welcome at this event, so bring all your queer friends!
As this is a fundraising event, we will soon post a breakdown of our budget, so that you know where the money from your ticket will go.
More info about the band, nominations for awards, the dress code, entertainment, and directions to the venue, will be released on the facebook event page (see link below) in the near future.
For this year’s Gaylidh, we’re offering four types of tickets. If you just want to go ahead and get yours, go grab a Standard Ticket right now, or read on and see what else is available!
Standard: 18 pounds, full ticket, no nonsense
Half: 9 pounds, this ticket option is meant to help you spread the cost a bit. You will need to buy two of these to get access to the event, and you can buy them whenever you’ve got a bit of spare cash on hand (just make sure it’s before the 24th :P)!
VIP: at £25, this ticket comes with some fun goodies, and a personal mini-photoshoot! On the night, our photographer will dedicate some time just to you (and your mates), to make sure you get a perfect shot of you rocking that sparkly dress/jumpsuit/tux/Deadpool costume. Afterwards, you’ll get exclusive access to the pictures, and you will receive your favourite photo printed and framed!
Sponsored: We want this to be an accessible event. If you are facing financial difficulty and don't believe you will be able to afford a full-priced ticket, we also offer a number of "sponsored" tickets for £5. Message us at lgbtq.forum@abdn.ac.uk if you want to buy a sponsored ticket.
