Carbon Literacy training
As part of Climate Week North East we will be running full carbon literacy trainings again. This is an interactive community learning course covering climate change, the since and the impacts, who is affected, who is responsible, what can and is being done on a community, local, national and global level to address this and how to communicate climate change.
The course has been designed by Manchester Metropolitan University and will feature some local additions and content from Keep Scotland Beautiful. The course is free to attend, for those who wish to get certified as carbon literate (and receive a certificate from the Carbon Literacy Project) there is an additional short test and £10 processing fee after the course has been completed.
The course will take part in three sessions as outlined below, and will take place via Microsoft teams, there will be a small exercise to complete and their opportunity to share and discuss using the teams channel in-between sessions.
