What happens to my suggestion?

All suggestions that reach 10 votes or more within 4 weeks, will receive a written response from the officers, outlining how we will respond or are already responding to the SU-ggestion, or what factors mean we might not be able to implement the suggestion.

If your idea relates to the establishment of a policy and reaches 30 votes or more within 4 weeks, it will be considered for a debate at our Student Council.

    Folders for finance requests

    Current
    • Other
    • Sports and Societies
Adding a way to categorise the finance requests for specific events. I know we already have categories to use for where the money goes and where its being spent but adding a function to create folders for event specific transactions.

Tell us more about why you want the Students' Union to do it

A society I am a part of often hosts events that require many transactions that are event specific. This means that it would be helpful and easier to filter through for the specific transaction that are tied to the event. This would help by showing us who to chase up and who we have paid more clearly. I'm sure this could also cross apply to societies that host events. This would also just clean up the finance request page as it would be clear which folders and requests I want access to and I wouldn't have to guess using the request reference.
