Join Doug as he shares his inspiring journey from earning a PhD in Psychology at the University of Aberdeen in 2005 to becoming Head of School in 2023. Discover the challenges, opportunities, and key lessons he encountered while navigating the academic landscape.

There will be plenty of opportunities for questions, discussions and networking as part of this session. 


The PGR CommuniTea series provides a platform for postgraduate researchers (PGRs) and their supervisors to  engage in discussions dedicated to exploring key themes shaping the PGR experience whilst connecting and building the PGR community.

This series is hosted by The Postgraduate Research School in collaboration with the Student Union, supported by the University of Aberdeen Development Trust Student Experience Fund.
