September Update (weeks 9, 10, 11, 12)

SEPTEMBER UPDATE

Wow, September has flown by! Sorry for not updating you guys, this month has been insane??

Week 9 - I spent the week in full Fresher's prep mode, working with the AUSA team to make sure everything was ready to welcome our new 1st years. My highlight of the week was Saturday's AUSA Welcome event at Hillhead. It was great to meet some Fresher's right at the start of their Aberdream journey.

Week 10 - Fresher's Week was probably my busiest week as Sports Officer yet! Working everything from the AUSA & Principle Welcome on Monday, the Foresterhill Fayre with MedSoc on Thursday, and the Test Your Strength event on Saturday. Of course, my highlight of the week was the Fresher's Fayres. It was amazing to meet everyone representing their clubs and societies as well as being able to get some free pizza??

Week 11 - I kicked off week 11 with my first Presidents Meeting of the year! Like last year, these meetings will be hosted every month to update all our clubs on what the Sports Union has been doing?? The sabb team also attended our first Student Experience Committee meeting!

Week 12 - On Monday I hosted a Captain's Meeting to talk about BUCS Play. On Wednesday, I had a full day of catch-up meetings with club presidents to see how their Fresher's has been and what their plans are for the year. I've got more of these planned for next week and I'm excited to hear what our clubs have planned!

That's all for now, from next week I'll be updating this weekly so stay tuned??
