Hey guys, here's my update for the week just past????
On Monday, I more or less spent a whole going through your grant application. First the Sports Union core grants, then the Student Experience Fund with Jenny from the UoA Development Trust, Daniel O'Connor (Societies Union Chair), and Danielle.
On Tuesday - more grants! Danielle and I finished going through the Sports Union performance grant applications. Then later in the day, Louise, Cecilia and I had a meeting with Scott Carle (elections returning officer) and Dariya (elections chair) about the question we had around re-running as incumbents and how to balance the election while doing out jobs.
On Thursday, the sabb team had a meeting with Gaudie Student Newspaper's Head Editors to talk about our (AUSA's) relationship with the student group moving forward and their much anticipated Sabb review (coming in the next issue!).
Lastly, on Friday I had a number of meetings - one with the recently elected Sports & Education Officer from the AUSA Disabled Students Forum to chat about ideas for an upcoming event. After that, Louise and I attended the unis International Women's Day event where we were 'speed mentors' and got the opportunity to talk to staff, students, and local school kids & teachers about what we do at AUSA and about the need for female role models.

After this I attended a meeting with the CEO of ASV, with Danielle and Margaret (AUSA CEO) to discuss ASV's new strategic plan. The meeting was set up for feedback by ASV and I'm happy to say it's great to see progress on our relationship with ASV!
Last but not least, on Saturday I prepped the International Women's Day posts for Sports Union media. The posts celebrates the success of our female Half and Full Blues winners! If you've not seen it you can find it here https://www.instagram.com/p/B9fWPUTHroM/?igshid=1jwtybqcjvd3x
