This year, we are taking the Refreshers’ Fayre online! Although not in its usual format, the fayre still promises to be a fun event which will allow student activities the opportunity to engage with students – learning what they do and how to get involved! Taking place on Microsoft Teams, Societies, Clubs, Student Groups and Forums will have their own ‘channel’. Within this channel, students will have the opportunity to chat, ask questions and connect with peers. More information below:

AUSA is committed to ensuring that all of our events and processes are safe, accessible and welcoming to students, in which no forms of discrimination or offensive behaviour will be tolerated. Students will be removed from the event immediately if using inappropriate, hateful, discriminatory or oppressive language, including swearing.
During this event, we expect all students to always do the following:
- To be aware of the connotations of their language. Many common expressions use discriminatory language or appeal to offensive stereotypes, and these should be avoided.
- To not make assumptions about anyone else’s gender, preferred pronouns, sexual orientation, abilities, ethnic identity, survivor status or life experiences and to never be derogatory or dismissive about these things.
- Be conscious and considerate to all students and staff involved in the event.
We hope you enjoy the event and find engaging with our student activities useful.
