Who’s joining us?
Omar Badawy - Omar started stand up in 2019 and, in his first year (+global pandemic), went on to win the prestigious 'So You Think You're Funny' award at the Edinburgh Fringe. He talks about his encounters with strange school friends, football fans and EDL-badge-wearing bouncers, providing unique insight from a childhood moving from Egypt to Wales to Cambridge.
Susan Riddell - After winning a place in BBC Writer’s Room Fast and Funny, Susan Riddell went on to write, create and star in several online comedy sketches for BBC Short Stuff which have garnered nearly 3 million views and counting.
Ross Leslie - Scottish comedian, Ross Leslie is a regular at every comedy club in Scotland, since starting in 2012. His material on being a father of a very large household has audiences delighting in the crazy images he brings to life. This year he took his debut solo show to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Pretty Shy For A White Guy, at the prestigious Stand Comedy Club, earning a 4 star review along the way.

- Thankfully we are back to being able to host a relatively 'normal' Freshers', but it is still important to maintain certain measures in order to keep everyone safe during the start of your time at university! We ask you to please be careful over the Freshers' period and stay at home if you're feeling unwell.
TICKET INFO
- You are eligible for a free entry to this event if you have an AUSA pass or AUSA x ATIK pass. Please bear in mind that it doesn't guarantee the entry because of the capacity of the event.
- All tickets are sold first-come-first-served, are limited and are likely to sell out.
- If you are a student under 18, you are able to attend AUSA’s official Freshers’ events. However, you will of course not be able to purchase or consume alcohol (please note this excludes ATIK events as it is an 18+ venue).
- All tickets are non-refundable.
- You will require to show your Freshers' pass, or ticket confirmation, on entry to each event, so please have that ready.
