We need you to join our committee!
Joining the Disabled Students' Forum Committee can be a rewarding experience for several reasons:
1. Advocacy and representation: You'll have the opportunity to advocate for the needs and rights of students with different needs, ensuring their voices are heard in university policies and practices.
2. Community building: Being part of the committee allowes you to help create a supportive and inclusive community. You'll meet like-minded individuals and share experiences.
3. Personal growth: You'll develop valuable skills such as leadership, communication and project management. These skills are not only beneficial for your personal development but also enhance your employability.
4. Making a difference: You'll be directly involved in campaigns and initiatives that aim to improve the university experience for disabled students This can include working on accessibility issues, organising events and providing peer support.
5. Empowerment: By participating in the committee, you'll feel more empowered to make positive changes and contribute to a more inclusive environmnet.
The positions we're looking to fill are:
- Forum Convenor
- Secretary
- Events Coordinator
- Social Media Officer
- Welfare Officer

Come join us on Wednesday the 20th of November at 6pm in room 101, when we will vote for each candidate and then play Jackbox party videogames to have some fun.
