Come along to the BioSocs beach clean and help us tidy up that coastline 

We all know how important clean ups are to prevent waste entering ecosystems, so this time the Secret Garden Society, the Biological Sciences and Zoology Society, the Conservation Society, and the Marine Society have paired up to clean Donmouth reserve in Aberdeen. On Saturday the 26th at around 3pm (TBC - depends on the tides!) we will head in pairs or groups to the beach, and both sides of the estuary and forest, to hopefully clean as much of the reserve as possible. We will be meeting somewhere yet to be confirmed hehe. If the incentive of just doing a beach clean is not enough, the event will be a great opportunity to meet other fellow biologists and enthusiasts, and what better way is there to start a weekend?

We will provide litter pickers and gloves for everybody coming along however we do encourage you to bring along your own reusable bags for the rubbish you pick up. Due to covid regulations we also ask that you bring along hand sanitizer and to take a LFD test at least 30 min before the event.

There are no booking limitations for this event so bring your flatmates, friends, dog, or pet fish, everyone is welcomed! Hope to see you then!
