What is the Freshers Dook?

The 'Looney Dook' is a Scottish tradition that involves running into the sea on New Year. Join us in fancy dress as we wear our silliest outfits and run into the water at Aberdeen Beach. We hope to see as many people there as possible and raise funds for our new society, as well as have a laugh. 

What should you wear?

We will be running a competition for best dressed, so be sure to wear your funniest outfit. If you're stuck for ideas, check out the Looney Dook at South Queensferry here: 

What should you bring?

Bring along a change of clothes, towel and a hot drink (there are coffee vans down at the beach).
