Up for grabs at this EGM will be the position of 1st/2nd year rep. You will be the representative of the younger year groups within the society, voicing their opinions, wishes and concerns. The first/second year rep will support the other committee members where needed, in particular aiding the Social Secretary with the organisation of events, making sure they’re inclusive to everyone

We hope to see plenty of people running for this position!

In order to run all you will need to do is attend the meeting and speak very briefly for a minute or so about why you would like to hold the position and why you believe you are right for people’s vote.

We will also vote for our Vice President from our committee. The Vice-President plays a key role in supporting the President and sharing the President’s roles where appropriate. The Vice-President will chair the Committee in the absence of the President.

Also at this meeting we go over our constitution and look at any possible changes.
