Welcome to the University of Aberdeen Sociology Society!

Can you see the public issues in private troubles? Have you realised you’ve got nothing to lose but your chains? Existential crisis after every lecture you sit through? Well SocSoc is the society for you!

For the 2023/24 academic year we plan to host a variety of events, such as talks from post-grads and study sessions, to more social get-togethers such as movie nights and coffee afternoons! To stay up to date follow us on Facebook ‘AUSA Sociology Society’, our Instagram ‘@ausasocsoc’ or our Discord Server (find the link below).

If you are interested in running a joint event or holding a talk, contact us here sociology@ausa.org.uk or the President at u17cs20@abdn.ac.uk
