What is an AGM?

AUSA's Annual General Meeting (AGM) provides a chance for students to learn about the achievements of AUSA and the Trustee Board during the previous academic year, how the Association has been doing financially and what it will do in the future. AGM also ensures that all students have an opportunity to vote on values and activities of the Association.

 

AGM 2019

Aberdeen University Students' Association's Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2019 will be held on the 19th of February at the William Guild Art Lecture Theatre. Doors will open at 5pm for registration and free Domino's pizza, and the AGM will begin at 5:30pm.

 

Motions submitted to the 2019 AUSA AGM

Please find the AGM 2019 motion guidance below. This document will explain the purpose of motions and how to write them. If you need any assistance, please email the AUSA Reps Team at ausareps@abdn.ac.uk or Student Council Chair at sa.chair@abdn.ac.uk. All motions need to be submitted via email to ausareps@abdn.ac.uk by midnight on Friday the 8th of February.

AGM 2019 Papers

Please find the reading documents for AGM 2019 below. This includes the agenda, AGM 2018 minutes, the Democratic Review survey report and motions submitted by the appropriate deadline. An NUS consultant will give presentation on the suggestions made by the Democratic Review survey and the AGM will be able to vote on it. Any amendments to motions need to be submitted by the end of day, Friday the 15th of February to ausareps@abdn.ac.uk.
