What is Aberdeen Student Show?

Student Show is a musical theatre society going into their 103rd year. Each year they perform a Doric parody of a well known musical or movie at His Majesty’s Theatre.

Over the years, Student Show has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for local charities. The most recent production of "Ayetanic" raised over £125,000 for 50 local charities!

Students from the University of Aberdeen, Robert Gordon University and North East Scotland College are welcome to audition and be involved in the society.

The show itself is one of a kind in the UK, and is the only amateur theatre show to consistently fill His Majesty's Theatre. Auditions are held in spring, followed by 4 weeks of intense rehearsals.
