Hello and welcome to Aberdeen University Women's Rugby Club!
Women's rugby at Aberdeen Uni is made up of a group of diverse, accepting, fun-loving girls that all share the same love of rugby (and having a good time!). We are a very welcoming group and take on any level of player, always looking for new members to join our team. So, even if you have never touched a rugby ball or aren't sure if you would like rugby, you can give it a "try" - no matter what your shape or size there's always a place for you on the team.
We play games on Wednesdays in the BUCS League. Our home games are held at King's pitches with away games against other teams in Scotland - Dundee, St. Andrews, Glasgow Uni, RGU and Stirling.
Training times are;
*Outdoor training: Monday 6 - 7.30 pm at Seaton Park
*Indoor training: Friday 7 - 8.30PM at ASV. (meet in foyer from 6.30 onwards)
We have various social events running throughout the year which are always good fun and a great way to get to know other team members.
See the fresher’s sports union guide for details of our give-it-a-go sessions, or pop us an email or Facebook message and we will get back to you ASAP.
