AUOC (Aberdeen University Orienteering Club) is a student-run club that provides orienteering for both new and experienced runners and orienteers. We train three times a week, leaving no one behind and helping people to build up stamina. Besides our training sessions, we also try to attend a bigger orienteering event every month. We will participate in BUCS this year and work with the Grampian Orienteering Club to extend our experience.
Our president Lucie and coach Bella are both dedicated runners and will design new, fun training sessions every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday to prepare the club for the upcoming events. There will be a lot of variation within the training sessions, so it never gets boring. ;)
We usually meet up in front of the Student Union building or next to the Mounthooly roundabout for our runs, and at the Aberdeen Sports village for our Sunday adventures.
Orienteering is for everyone! We are looking forward to seeing YOU at our training sessions.
Please feel free to get in touch on our Facebook Page and join our Facebook group to keep up to date with our training session and socials.
