Welcome to the Aberdeen University Volleyball Club (AUVC) Family!

We have 5 teams covering all skill levels so whether you’re a beginner or a lifelong player, we’re the club for you. 

Our 1st and 2nd Teams play in the BUCS league (British University College Sport) and compete in the BUCS trophy, and our 3rd team focus on development and friendly games. All of our teams are great for gaining some playing experience and developing as a player. 

Moreover, you can look forward to our thrilling social events that always have moments to remember. Keep your schedule free for our White Shirt Night, Themed Families Night and the Christmas Dinner, dates to be confirmed.

Training Days and Times (all at Aberdeen Sports Village)

1st Women       Tuesdays, 21:00 – 22:30 

1st  Men           Thursdays, 19:00 – 21:00 

2nd Women      Tuesdays, 21:00 - 22:30 & Fridays, 19:30 – 21:00

2nd Men           Fridays, 19:30 - 21:00 & Saturdays, 8:30 – 10:00 

3rd Team          Tuesdays, 6:30 – 8:30

Sundays for home and away matches

  •  12:00 - 17:00 for home matches at ASV, followed by post match drinks at the Bobbin

Memberships for 2021-22 Academic year

Memberships for Semester 1 only

             1st teams - £100

               1st teams - £60

             2nd teams - £90

               2nd teams - £55

             3rd team - £50

               3rd team - £25

Memberships for 1st and 2nd teams include registration and affiliation fees for the BUCS league and for Scottish Volleyball Association (Sport Governing Body). The price also includes transportation fees for away fixtures, as well as refereeing courses which you can gain certification from. 

 

How to Join

*Please do not purchase your membership until after your team has been confirmed*

1. Follow us on our social media platforms for information on teams and trials; Facebook and Instagram

2. Purchase a volleyball club team membership through AUSA.

3. Purchase a Sports Union membership (£15) through AUSA. This is insurance for public liability which covers events and personal accident. 

*Please note that the prices are subject to change at any point! If, for any reason, we are unable to offer the volleyball membership halfway through the semester, we will let you know right away and discuss compensation possibilities.
