Welcome to the Aberdeen University Volleyball Club (AUVC) Family!

We have 5 teams covering all skill levels so whether you’re a beginner or a lifelong player, we’re the club for you. 

Our 1st and 2nd Teams play in the BUCS league (British University College Sport) and compete in the BUCS trophy, and our 3rd team focus on development and friendly games. All of our teams are great for gaining some playing experience and developing as a player.

Training Days and Times (all at Aberdeen Sports Village unless separately mentioned)

1st Women       Tuesdays 7:00-8:30 & 21:00-22.30 slots alternating weekly with 2nd women, Fridays 7:00-9:00

1st  Men           Tuesdays 21:00-22:30 (ASV) and Thursdays 20:30-22:00 (Sheddocksley) 

2nd Men          Saturdays 8:30-10:00

2nd Women      Tuesday 7:00-8:30 and Tuesday 21:00-22.30 slots alternating weekly with 1st women

3rd Team           Fridays 18:00-19:15 or 19:15-20:30

 

Fixtures

Sundays for home and away matches

  •  12:00 - 17:00 for home matches at ASV, followed by post match drinks at the Bobbin.

 

Memberships for 1st and 2nd teams include registration and affiliation fees for the BUCS league and for Scottish Volleyball Association (Sport Governing Body). The price also includes transportation fees for away fixtures.

 

How to Join

*Please do not purchase your membership until after your team has been confirmed*

1. Follow us on our social media platforms for information on teams and trials; Facebook and Instagram. 

2. Purchase a volleyball club team membership through AUSA.

3. Purchase a Sports Union membership (£15) through AUSA. This is insurance for public liability which covers events and personal accident. 

*Please note that the prices are subject to change at any point! If, for any reason, we are unable to offer the volleyball membership halfway through the semester, we will let you know right away and discuss compensation possibilities.
