October Blog

Freshers now a distant memory the semester is fully underway, and so it seems are the endless committee/board meetings. Finally I and the other Sabbatical Officers had an official meeting with Sir Ian Diamond and Mike Grieves who heard about our manifesto plans and any other concerns that we had. I also went to the QAA Enhancement Themes Launch in Dundee the theme being Evidence for Enhancement. Also met with my Vice Chair of Education.

Also it was the first official meeting of Senate in which I spoke to support a paper that was up for discussion with regards to automatic lecture recording.

I actually managed to take some annual leave also.

Managed to get some additional seating on the ground floor of the student union building. Visited Nescol North for a to take part in a digital expo event.

Held first Education Committee meeting which was good and nice to meet all the committee.
