Quick questions

If I had to describe myself in 3 words I would use:

Empathetic, committed and (sometimes) adventurous.

Best piece of advice I’ve ever received is:

Don't waste your time on something you don't like doing. Find what makes you happy and go from there.

If I had one superpower, it would be:

Being able to fill up anything (my bank account or my fridge!)

Favourite thing to do in my spare time is:

I like to garden and plant things, but also exploring new places in cities or nature.

This year I want to achieve:

Sustainability! Not just in words, but actions.

Weekly Update (Week 29 13th-17th January)

This week was full of events! I helped out during Refreshers Week at various events such as the fayres. I talked to a few societies about room booking issues and how they felt about the Fayre at Union Brew.

I helped out at the 24H Hocket matc organised by RAG, it was in the wee hours but the game was still going strong. Congratson the teams for raising money to charity.

Me and some of my fellow sabbs also went to Foresterhill to talk to students and get people to sign up a questionnaire. We want to know what people want, so next time you see us in Foresterhill, don't hesitate to come talk to us.

I met with UCU to talk about potential strikes and to know how we can work together to make Universities a place which cares for their teachers. Thier JObs, Our Education! Worsening working condition impact the quality of our education, their fight is our fight.

I met with the Disabled Forum Convener to talk about changes in Byelaw through the Democratic Review.

We had a meeting with the Trustee Board. We discussed a range of things including the Meat-Free Mondays Motion. You can see a fuller update to the motion in my blogs.

I interviewed students for the Foresterhill Coordinator position, I'm really looking forward to work with them and make AUSA more present and supportive to students based on this campus.

We had our January Student Council where I presented my work report.

I had a catch-up with the Environment and Ethics Committee regarding GoGreen Week. We have a lot of events planned so stay tuned.

I also went to town to particpate in the Aberdeen FairTrade Steering Group meeting.
