Quick questions

If I had to describe myself in 3 words I would use:

Empathetic, committed and (sometimes) adventurous.

Best piece of advice I’ve ever received is:

Don't waste your time on something you don't like doing. Find what makes you happy and go from there.

If I had one superpower, it would be:

Being able to fill up anything (my bank account or my fridge!)

Favourite thing to do in my spare time is:

I like to garden and plant things, but also exploring new places in cities or nature.

This year I want to achieve:

Sustainability! Not just in words, but actions.

Weekly Update (Week 31 3rd of February-7th of February)

I rescheduled my meeting with the LGBTQ+ Forum. I'm also done with the first round of consultation regarding the byelaws for Liberation Forums. However, if you self-identify with any of the Liberation Groups. DOn't hesitate to contact me and let me know what would make it easier for you to get involved, what kind of barriers you have found.

I met with the Veggie/Vegan Society to plan future events regarding Meat-Free Mondays. Find us at Union Brew next Monday :) I also went to Foresterhill after a couple of weeks.

With the strikes announced, I've been cordinating meetings between students and UCU, prepared comms plan with the rest of the sab team, working on updating our pages and organising solidarity events.

I attended Student Council which was live-stream for the first time ever to make sure our collegaues in Qatar have the same experience as we do.

I updated on my work regarding the Student Partnership Agreement. As you may know, AUSA and the University have agreed to focus on several key issues this year. We are obviously always aiming to work in collaboration.

I attended the Sports Ball and helped out with busses. It was my first ball ever and definitely was an interesting experience.

Lastly, I spent the last day working with the Environment and Ethics to prepare banners, tee-shirts and logistics for our die-in next Thursday.
