President's Statement

Hiya

I’m Lawson, your student president and my task is to ensure students’ voice is heard within the University and outside the University. This I do, by attending virtually all University (management) meetings and NUS conferences where far-reaching decisions are taken or will be taken. This year I’ve got a couple of programs I am pursuing which will require your cherished views; these include advocating for Rent cut for campus accommodation, better student discount for intra city transport, cheaper student discount for sports facilities at the Aberdeen Sports Village, advocating for a 24-hour Library operation throughout term period and lots more. If you are interested in participating in any of these areas of my manifestoes please I will be most grateful to have you on board. Feel free to pop in at the Union Building located at the ground floor, or drop me an email, tweet, message me on Facebook messenger or call whichever means is most convenient for you. Welfare is our supreme priority.
