This committee exists to promote student welfare, advice and support services available, and to organise activities around and campaign for better welfare representation on campus.

Vice-Chair Welfare

The Vice-Chair will act as a depute to the Vice-President for Welfare and will liaise with other interest groups, increasing cross-collaboration and engagement. The Vice-Chair’s role includes sitting Student Council and working with their committee to develop and implement welfare policy with approval from Student Council.

Foresterhill Rep

The Foresterhill representative will be responsible for ensuring that students based at Foresterhill have their voices heard within the Welfare Committee’s remit, attending meetings and ensuring that projects and campaigns are relevant and accessible to students at Foresterhill.

Ordinary Member (5 places)

Ordinary Member posts are non-portfolio roles within the committee that enable you to take a lead on the issues you are most passionate about student welfare. Whether you have ideas for a new project or campaigns on well-being, health, student safety, housing issues, or anything else student welfare related, we encourage you to get involved and support the work of the committee!
